Employees and essential caregivers need to be up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccinations by November 25, 2022.

This means getting a vaccine/booster six months after your last COVID-19 vaccine dose, per Ministry guidelines.

If an employee, or essential caregiver, has had a COVID-19 infection, they must get up-to-date with their vaccination at the end of a six-month waiting period.

All of us who live, work or visit Cassellholme are expected to ensure an optimum healthy environment for our Residents. Vaccinations are a big part of that commitment.

Essential caregivers who are not up-to-date with vaccination will move to general visitor status and have to renew their essential caregiver training, once vaccinated. This is not something any of us want to have happen. Essential caregivers are an important part of the team.

We are obligated to ask all essential caregivers to provide written proof of their COVID-19 immunization record to the front door screener by November 25, 2022.

Cassellholme will be offering COVID-19 vaccination clinics on Wednesday, November 16th and Thursday, the 17th.

COVID-19 vaccinations are also available at:

  • Your family doctor
  • Most pharmacies – call ahead in case you need an appointment
  • Health Unit clinics by appointment – 705-474-1400
