Today, the respiratory outbreak on the 2nd Floor has been upgraded to a facility-wide COVID outbreak.

Essential Care Givers coming into the home:
If you're coming in to the home as an essential caregiver or essential visitor [visiting someone who is at end of life] surgical masks are required over your nose and mouth for the duration of your visit.  

General visitors are not permitted.

Visiting a Resident in isolation:
If you're an Essential Caregiver [ECG] or support worker visiting a Resident with a confirmed or suspected infection, N-95 masks, gowns and eye protection are required. If possible, consider postponing your visit to these areas for the duration of the outbreak. 

Hand sanitizing remains a vital defence against most illnesses. Continue to wash your hands thoroughly and frequently!
