Outbreak is over
Documents
The facility-wide outbreak has ended! Many thanks to everyone – staff, essential caregivers and all support workers for their diligence. We're all part of a truly great team!
Masking is no longer required at Cassellholme; however, it is encouraged. We also urge you to continue to be cautious in public settings. Practice good hand hygiene and stay home if you’re not feeling well.
Normally, we'd direct you to the Send-A-Card feature to thank staff or to send love when you can't visit. Unfortunately, the SAC feature of our website is currently being repaired. We'll let you know as soon as the City has it back up and running.
RSV vaccinations will be given on September 17th. We're ramping up our Infection Prevention and Control [IPAC] efforts with the start of the school year and autumn just around the corner. Residents who had the vaccine in the 2023/24 respiratory illness season don't require it this year. If a Resident didn't receive it and has not signed a consent form, we'll contact them [or their POA/SDM] to discuss.
