Residents' Handbook

Starting in 2025, Cassellholme will be implementing evidence-based Clinical Pathways as recommended by the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario [RNAO].
These Resident centred guidelines will:
- promote safe, high-quality Resident care
- improve staff efficiency and retention
- support legislative and regulatory compliance
- standardize documentation and assessments that promote Resident-centred care – focusing on emotional needs and care preferences of each individual
- minimize risk by identifying changes in the Resident condition – nurses are guided to observe and assess based on the Resident’s current health status
