The Ontario Government announced on Friday [August 28] that Residents in Long-Term Care Homes may soon be allowed short absences.

The details are not yet clear and there are a number of unanswered questions. Please know that we will communicate a plan as soon as it is in place.

We need to do this in a considered, safe way for all concerned. Our Residents’ health and well-being is always our main priority.
