There is plenty of excitement around the Solar Eclipse that will take place on Monday afternoon – April 8th. Here’s some great info about it:
Time and Date
Your Guide to Solar Eclipses
Guide from the Ministry of Long-Term Health

The most important issue is that YOU MUST NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN, unless you have special eye protection. Sunglasses don't work. There is a serious possibility of damaging, or even losing, your eyesight.

The North Bay Astronomy Club has paired up with the Food Bank for an event at the waterfront. Bring a non-perishable food donation and receive a pair of special safety glasses! Head down to the green space by the Rotary Cabana [near The Boat restaurant] on Monday. The eclipse begins around 2:00 p.m., with the greatest coverage around 3:20.

Or… here’s an even safer way to view the event from home – A LIVE FEED
