We've just had to declare a COVID outbreak on the second floor [Cherry and Birch Streets]. Only essential caregivers can visit those units during the outbreak. N-95 masks and goggles must be worn on the second floor.

We’re in consultation with the local health unit to see if other visiting restrictions are necessary. General visitors are not allowed on the 2nd floor at this time. We will communicate any further changes as they happen.

Residents, who are not on isolation, are permitted to go on outings. It's still a requirement that they are going out with one of their essential caregivers. Call the unit manager ahead of time to make arrangements – especially in regards to medication.
