Public Health has declared that Cassellholme is now in a facility-wide COVID outbreak. We all hoped that we’d never have to say that again.

Reminders of what this means:
  • essential caregivers [ECGs] and essential visitors are the only people able visit at this time
  • no general visitors, except for those caring for a Resident in palliative care
  • essential caregivers are needed now more than ever to help out with their Resident
  • ECGs and staff must wear N95 masks and eye protection anywhere that Residents are allowed
  • full PPE is always to be worn when a Resident is symptomatic, or in isolation
  • high-risk contacts will be isolated
Please be cautious while out in public or at large gatherings. Clearly, we are not past the spread of COVID. All essential caregivers are encouraged to refresh their training. The most recent presentation can be downloaded here.

We’re grateful for the compassionate essential caregivers who have been trained for this kind of situation. We're counting on their help, along with the strong Cassellholme team.
