Respiratory outbreak now facility-wide
Documents
The respiratory outbreak on the 3rd Floor has been upgraded to facility-wide.
General visitors are allowed.
If you're coming in to visit your loved one, surgical masks are required over your nose and mouth for the duration of your visit – including in the Resident's room.
Visiting a Resident in isolation:
If you're an Essential Caregiver [ECG] or support worker visiting a Resident with a confirmed or suspected COVID-19 infection, N-95 masks, gowns and eye protection are required.
Be Cautious.
- Consider postponing your visit for the duration of the outbreak.
- Keep in mind the upsurge in respiratory infections that occurs with the return to school.
- Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently! Hand sanitizing remains a vital defence against most illnesses.
