With a long history of providing quality care to the community Cassellholme now looks forward to the future. We’re excited about the opportunities that lay ahead as we build the New Cassellholme to meet the needs of our aging population. We’ll provide more beds for the community in a state-of-the-art space designed to meet modern standards and ensure safe social distancing. We’ll create more full and part time employment and provide the kind enhanced treatment areas, better lighting, ventilation and community space for residents, visitors, and staff required in a modern care facility. Construction will be completed in phases on the same site we occupy now, creating hundreds of local construction jobs.
The plans are ready, design and engineering is complete, our stakeholders are behind it. The province has announced funding for the build and our partner municipalities agree the project is a top priority.
